Ribbon Dispenser

I want to make a cupboard that will house my craft accessories. In this cupboard I will have a dowel for my ribbon. To tide me over until I can FINALLY do a craft room makeover, I bought a cheapo dispenser at Michael's. It doesn't even house half of my ribbon, so I may NEED to make one or two of these in the meantime! The tutorial can be found on Instructables.
